Dominion Eye Care Chesapeake

I met our new optician… in the past when we transitioned to new doctors (dentist, primary care doctor, etc) it has been quite a change which resulted in chaotic turnover. Dr. Keaton’s “bedside manner” made me feel very comfortable to ask questions and our interaction left a very positive impression on me. Staff is as friendly as ever and there is an effort being put into place to convert patients records from paper based to a electronic records. There are still glitches from this transition but I feel the bugs will eventually be resolved. I also think using the latest equipment to take a photo of the eyes to get a deeper picture of the eyes is an excellent option.

I have been seeing Dr. Keaton for the past couple of months and have been very pleased with the care I’ve received. She was able to see me quickly when I was experiencing a problem and has continued to be caring, attentive, and thorough. I especially appreciate that she is conscientious about costs and takes the time to follow up regarding insurance coverage and deductibles. She truly cares about her patients and provides a very comprehensive eye exam. I highly recommend her!

Wow! Went in for my yearly eye exam and glasses. Not only has the optometrist been updated, but most of the equipment, desk and chairs have been replaced. Very comfortable atmosphere and knowledgeable staff is awesome. Not just getting glasses anymore! They are an advanced eye health center like no other i have been to. I liked the previous crew but Dr. Keaton has really took this place to the next level! No complaints at all!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Dominion Eye Care in Chesapeake. From the moment you walk in, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. It honestly felt like I had known the staff for years, even though it was my first time there. The nurses and staff are incredibly kind, patient, and friendly. They take their time with you and truly care about making sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They even helped me choose frames, encouraged me to try on different styles, and gave honest opinions about what looked best on my face, which I really appreciated. Dr. Brook Keaton was absolutely amazing. Never in my life have I had an eye doctor spend so much time with me and show so much patience, especially while trying to help my eyes adjust to contacts. I had been struggling to find contacts that felt comfortable, and Dr. Keaton worked with me until we finally found the perfect fit. For the first time, I have contacts that actually feel good in my eyes! It honestly feels incredible to have “8K vision” again. I left feeling happy, cared for, and confident that I was in great hands. I highly recommend Dominion Eye Care in Chesapeake to anyone looking for a professional, caring, and welcoming eye doctor and staff. This place truly goes above and beyond, and I’m so happy I found them.

Dr. Keaton took the necessary time to clearly explain my eye issues and how to address them. She ensured all my questions were answered before moving to the next patient.

Dr Keaton and her staff are wonderful to work with. Eye care diagnosis and treatment is superb with the latest tools available. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra to not have your eyes dilated. The scanning machine is so much better than dealing with dilated eyes. When it comes time to pick frames and lenses they will help you with that as well. Wonderful place for eye care!

This was my first time there and it was PERFECT!!! 😄 The staff is amazing.The Dr took her time and made me feel comfortable. I'm 58, homeless and they made me feel like someone. Loved it
